Exactly what was delivered unto the devil?..Luke 4:6 Part 3...

Luk 4:5 Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
Luk 4:6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

All ref from NKJV...unless stated otherwise

 and part 2?: http://fcyap-godisgood.blogspot.com/2014/10/exactly-what-was-delivered-unto_28.html

Here's part 3...More nuggets of truth I wish to bring to light...

The word "authority" in the Greek is the word "exousia" which speaks of...

pronounced ex-oo-see'-ah
(in the sense of ability); privilege, that is, (subjectively) force, capacity, competency, freedom, or (objectively) mastery (concretely magistrate, superhuman, potentate, token of control), delegated influence: - authority, jurisdiction, liberty, power, right, strength.

And I submit to you, my reader, it is talking about the Mosaic Law, which was shown to govern the world from the time Moses gave the Law to the Israelites (Gentiles are judged similarly by their conscience of the Law) till before Jesus was crucified on the cross...and it had glory...

Power of death...

2Co 3:7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,
2Co 3:8 "how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?

now replaced by the ministry of the Spirit(New Testament) which gives life...

2Co 3:6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Power to condemn...

2Co 3:9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
2Co 3:10 For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels.
2Co 3:11 "For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious.

Now replaced by "no condemnation"...We are set free, called righteous, made joint heirs with Jesus...

Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Rom 5:17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

Rom 8:17 and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

The Law (of the Old covenant) ministered death and condemnation...Jesus came and fulfilled the requirements of the Law by His own blood to shield all of us (from the wrath of God...) who would believe...Jesus gave us much more glory!

Col 1:27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Glory, Glory, Glory...Glory cloud...all the Goodness of God...Prescence of God...God dwells in us today!

1Co 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

Hah!..Praise the Lord! Thank you Jesus! Amen!
